Consultation with a neurologist

What is a neurologist?

Neurologist is a board-certified doctor specialising in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the nerves, brain and spinal cord, their membranes and blood vessels.

Service process

The following neurological consultations and services are provided at the clinic:

Consult a neurologist to confirm a possible neurological disease and to set up a treatment plan
If you have consulted a specialist (family doctor, cardiologist, etc.) with observations of health problems and complaints, you have been examined and advised to consult a neurologist because you suspect a neurological disease.

Neurological patient monitoring and dynamic follow-up
If you have been hospitalised with a neurological problem (for example, after a diagnosis of haemorrhage or ischaemic infarction in the brain, or stroke) and need further follow-up by a neurologist after discharge from hospital. If you have a chronic neurological condition that requires regular monitoring, including assessment and adjustment of drug therapy.

Second opinion
If you have a diagnosis and a treatment plan but need further specialist advice (second opinion). Most often, if the diagnosis has been made and a treatment plan has been drawn up by your GP and you want to check the diagnosis or the treatment you have chosen.

Preventive check-up with a neurologist
If you have health problems that may be related to diseases of the nerves, brain, spinal cord, meninges or blood vessels, you need to consult a neurologist in order to identify possible neurological diseases early and start appropriate preventive measures or treatment. A preventive consultation is recommended if any of these health problems are observed:

Take care of your nervous system early and don’t wait for neurological disorders to disrupt your daily rhythm!

See a neurologist for a preventive check-up or early diagnosis of neurological disorders that, if not detected in time, can not only cause physical pain but also emotional discomfort. The specialist will give you personalised recommendations and, if necessary, develop a treatment plan.
