Result after consultation
The following consultations are provided by the vascular surgeon:
Consultation with a vascular surgeon to confirm the diagnosis and develop a treatment plan
If you have seen a specialist (GP, cardiologist, etc.) with observations and complaints of health problems, you have been examined and advised to see a vascular surgeon because vascular disease is suspected.
Monitoring and dynamic surveillance of a patient with vascular disease
If you have been hospitalised after surgery and require follow-up by a vascular surgeon after discharge, or if you have repeated vascular formations or ulcers within one year and require regular monitoring, including assessment and adjustment of medical therapy.
Additional expert opinion
If you have a diagnosis and a treatment plan but need further specialist advice ( second opinion). Most often, if the diagnosis has been made and a treatment plan has been drawn up by your GP and you want to check the diagnosis or the treatment you have chosen.
Preventive check-up by a vascular surgeon
If you have health problems that may be related to vascular disease, or if your lifestyle, such as long-term smoking, requires a consultation with a vascular surgeon to identify possible vascular diseases early and to initiate appropriate preventive measures or therapy. Preventive consultation with a vascular surgeon is recommended if you experience any of the above health problems (note that the symptoms listed may also be indicative of diseases of other organ systems, so it is advisable to consult your family doctor beforehand):
– vascular masses;
– aneurysms or dissections of the abdominocardiac aorta;
– MYCLING;
– ulcers;
– carotid artery pathology;
– pain at rest in peripheral arterial disease.
Take care of your vascular health early, without waiting for unexplained blood vessel growths, ulcers or vague pain in your head, arms or legs to make your day miserable!
Schedule a preventive check-up with a vascular surgeon and get recommendations or a treatment plan to feel safer and freer in your daily routine!
