"OMRON M6 Comfort Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor

A convenient and modern digital blood pressure and pulse monitor for adult patients. The timing device detects irregular heartbeats and illuminates a warning signal together with the measurement result. Designed for easy use at home.

OMRON offers a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase. The blood pressure monitor has been thoroughly tested and is designed for long-term use. It is generally recommended to check the device every two years to ensure its proper functioning and accuracy. For calibration of the meter, please contact OMRON Customer Service (contact details on the device packaging and/or in the enclosed documentation).

What is blood pressure?
Blood pressure is the force exerted by flowing blood against the walls of arteries. Arterial blood pressure changes continuously during the cardiac cycle. The highest pressure of the cycle is called systolic blood pressure, the lowest diastolic blood pressure. Both blood pressure readings are needed for the doctor to assess the patient’s blood pressure status.

A compression inhaler (nebulizer or compressor nebulizer) is a unique two-in-one device: a compression nebulizer with a nasal shower (a special nozzle for rinsing the nose). The dual function of the device allows you to effectively treat and relieve (remove) the symptoms of various respiratory diseases throughout the year. This is a medical device intended for home use.

"OMRON "A3 Complete" Compression Inhaler

A compression inhaler (nebulizer or compressor nebulizer) is intended for use at home as a medicinal inhaler for respiratory conditions. It is an effective device that allows medicines to pass deeper into the airways and even into the alveoli of the lungs. The device produces an aerosol with variable properties that can be adjusted to suit individual needs.

The medicine pumped up through the drug channel is mixed with compressed air created by the compressor pump. The compressed air mixes with the medicine to form tiny particles which are sprayed out when they come into contact with the baffle.

Pulse Oximeter AS-302-L

Compact, lightweight and easy to carry, the Fingertip Pulse Oximeter is designed for home use. This device will help you to measure the amount of oxygen in your blood simply and painlessly, without having to take a prick. The device is placed on the finger (index or middle finger) and after 3-4 seconds you will be able to read the data from the device screen.

The amount of oxygen in the blood is called oxygen saturation and is denoted by SpO2 or SaO2. The measurement shows how much oxygen the blood is carrying at the time of the test, compared to how much oxygen it can carry in general.

What are the clinic's working hours?

Skrides Heart Clinic is open on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Where is the clinic located?

Skrides Heart Clinic is located at 62 Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, not far from the Skanste neighborhood. The entrance to the clinic is from the Aloja quarter/courtyard side.

How to get here?

The clinic is easily accessible by both public and private transport.

The clinic can be easily reached by taking trolleybus No. 3 (a 3-minute walk from the clinic on Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, stop “Alojas iela”) and tram No. 11 (a 4-minute walk from the clinic along Alojas Street towards Miera Street is the tram stop “Dzemdību nams”).

Is free parking available for clinic clients?

Yes, for the convenience of clinic clients, there is a ParkExpert car park in the Aloja quarter courtyard (near Kr. Valdemāra Street), where we provide clinic patients with free parking for up to 3 hours upon registering their car number at the clinic reception.

Is there somewhere to leave children during a visit to the clinic?

Yes, there is a children’s room in the clinic where young guests can spend time while their parents are having their appointment.

Is the clinic accessible?

Skrides Heart Clinic provides an accessible environment for all our patients and visitors.

People who use wheelchairs and parents with prams can also move around comfortably inside the clinic – all entrance and exit doors are threshold-free and are on the same level as the common areas, elevator lobby and hallway. The clinic also has toilets and shower rooms that are adapted for use by people with mobility impairments.

People with limited mobility can access the clinic premises via the main entrance to the building from Alojas Street. The clinic is located on the 2nd floor and can be accessed using one of the four passenger elevators in the building.

The clinic’s internal navigation system is also available in Braille.
