Therapeutic massage is one of the oldest therapeutic methods, involving a dosed mechanical action on the human body. It is a scientifically based method of physical medicine used for preventive purposes, as well as for the treatment and rehabilitation of various diseases. Massage has a beneficial effect on the skin and subcutaneous tissues, the cardiovascular and lymphatic systems, the respiratory system, the abdominal and pelvic organs, the musculoskeletal and nervous systems. Therapeutic massage is performed on the whole body or on specific parts of the body (collar area, back, chest, lumbosacral area, arms or legs). The type of massage you choose depends on the duration of the massage, which lasts between 30 and 60 minutes.
