Klinta Barbaka

clinical and health psychologist

In my work with clients, I consider acceptance, respect, and confidentiality to be my core values. It is important to me to create a safe space where a person can be authentic, heard, and understood. I provide psychological support for both everyday challenges and crisis situations. I work with issues such as lack of motivation, symptoms of depression and anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other challenges, as well as supporting parents and families at various stages of development.

My research interest focuses on blended families—families in which one or both partners have children from previous relationships. I am interested in the internal dynamics of these families, the division of roles, stereotyping, and how these relate to decision-making and family functioning.

I conduct psychological assessments for adults and children ages 4 and up.
