Consultation with an endocrinologist

Who is an endocrinologist?

An endocrinologist is a board-certified doctor who specialises in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the body’s endocrine glands.

Service process

The following endocrinologist consultations are provided at the clinic:

Consult an endocrinologist to confirm the diagnosis and develop a treatment plan
If you have consulted a specialist (GP, cardiologist, neurologist, nutritionist, etc.) with observations of health problems and complaints, you have been examined and advised to consult an endocrinologist because you suspect a possible endocrine disease.

Endocrine patient monitoring and dynamic follow-up
If you have been hospitalised with an endocrine problem and need further follow-up by an endocrinologist after discharge. Also if you have a chronic disease (e.g. diabetes, thyroid abnormalities, adrenal gland diseases, etc.) and need regular monitoring, including assessment and adjustment of your drug therapy.

Second opinion
If you have a diagnosis and a treatment plan, but need a second opinion. Most often if the diagnosis has been made and a treatment plan has been drawn up by your GP and you want to check the diagnosis or the treatment you have chosen.

Preventive check-up by an endocrinologist
If you are experiencing health problems that may be related to endocrine diseases or a lifestyle that contributes to metabolic and hormonal disorders, you should consult an endocrinologist to identify possible endocrine diseases early and start appropriate preventive measures or treatment. A preventive endocrinologist consultation is recommended if any of the above health problems are observed (note that the symptoms listed may also be indicative of diseases of other systems, so it is advisable to consult your family doctor beforehand):

Take care of your endocrine health early and don’t wait for unexplained weakness and fatigue, weight changes, non-healing wounds or other unusual symptoms to cause concern and make your day more difficult!

Make an appointment with an endocrinologist for a preventive endocrine check-up and get recommendations or a treatment plan to help you feel more energetic, more alert and achieve more!
